Editorial Policy

Last updated: 2 Sept, 2026.

At Knowledge Source Hub, our goal is to publish useful, understandable, and responsible information about critical thinking, digital knowledge, learning, productivity, skills, and self improvement.

We recognize that a trustworthy website is not built simply by publishing a large number of articles. It depends on how we select topics, evaluate information, write explanations, and handle errors.

This Editorial Policy explains the principles we use when creating and maintaining content on the website.

Our Editorial Purpose

Knowledge Source Hub exists to make useful knowledge easier to understand and apply.

We aim to publish articles that explain a subject clearly, provide meaningful context, answer practical questions, or help readers develop a better understanding of a topic.

We avoid publishing content solely for the purpose of filling pages or targeting keywords. A topic should have a reasonable purpose for the reader before it becomes an article.

How We Select Topics

Topics are selected based on factors such as reader usefulness, relevance to the site’s subject areas, practical questions people commonly encounter, and opportunities to explain a subject more clearly.

We aim to maintain a connection between individual articles and the five main areas of Knowledge Source Hub:

  • Critical Thinking & Analysis
  • Digital Knowledge
  • Learning & Education
  • Productivity & Skills
  • Self Improvement

Research and Verification

The research process depends on the subject.

For factual, scientific, educational, technical, or otherwise evidence-based subjects, we aim to consult appropriate sources, including recognized institutions, original research where practical, official documentation, reputable publications, and other reliable references.

We do not treat a search-result snippet, anonymous post, or unverified online claim as sufficient evidence for an important factual statement.

Where research is limited, contested, or uncertain, we try to avoid presenting a conclusion as more certain than the available information supports.

Originality

Articles published on Knowledge Source Hub aim to provide original explanations and useful editorial value.

We do not intentionally copy articles from other websites or reproduce substantial portions of another publisher’s work.

When outside information is necessary to explain a subject, we interpret and present it in our own words while respecting applicable copyright and attribution requirements.

Personal Experience

Some articles may include firsthand experiences, practical methods, workflows, or observations.

Personal experience is presented as experience rather than universal proof. A method that worked for one person does not automatically guarantee the same result for every reader.

We aim to distinguish between personal observations and information supported by broader evidence.

Writing Standards

We aim for content that is:

  • Clear and understandable
  • Accurate and appropriately qualified
  • Relevant to the article’s stated purpose
  • Original rather than repetitive
  • Practical where practical guidance is appropriate
  • Honest about uncertainty and limitations

We avoid unnecessary sensationalism, misleading claims, fabricated evidence, and exaggerated guarantees.

Updates

Information can change. When an article contains information that becomes outdated, incomplete, or materially misleading, we may review and update it.

Updates may involve correcting factual information, improving explanations, replacing outdated examples, or adding relevant context.

We may change the date of an article or its latest update when we make a substantive revision.

Corrections

We take reader reports of factual errors seriously.

A reported issue is reviewed before a correction is made. When a material factual error is confirmed, we aim to correct the relevant article as appropriate.

Our specific correction process is described in our Corrections Policy.

Editorial Independence

Our editorial decisions are based on the usefulness and relevance of information to our readers.

Advertising, sponsorship, affiliate relationships, or other commercial relationships should not be treated as a substitute for editorial judgment.

Where a commercial relationship could materially affect how we present information, we will provide appropriate disclosure.

AI and Content Creation

Technology and writing tools may be used as part of the editorial workflow where appropriate. However, tools do not replace editorial responsibility.

Published content should be reviewed for accuracy, clarity, originality, relevance, and usefulness before publication.

We do not consider automatically generated text to be a sufficient reason to publish an article. Human editorial judgment remains responsible for the final content.

Reader Feedback

Readers are encouraged to report factual errors, outdated information, unclear explanations, or other editorial concerns.

Feedback can be submitted through our Contact Us page.

Policy Changes

This Editorial Policy may be updated as our publication practices develop or when additional standards are needed.

The current version will always be published on this page.
